Adaptive Capacity (AdCap) is Service Titan’s new capacity planning & reporting tool that dynamically matches customer demand with technician availability based on skills, location, and job complexity.


How To Get Started in Service Titan

  1. Contact account admin to get access to required permissions for following features:
  2. Make sure Technician Profiles are activated and configured.
  3. Make sure your Arrival Windows are properly set up.
  4. Configure Technician Shifts.
  5. Configure AdCap Settings. Go to Settings (Gear icon in top right) > Adaptive Capacity > Settings:
    1. Availability Threshold - set buffer time between jobs (only affects calculation)
    2. Calculation Defaults - set how capacity gets calculated
    3. Strategic Rules - add any specific rules needed for your team
  6. How to actually use AdCap now:
    1. For viewing & adjusting schedule: Go to Schedule > Capacity Reporting
    2. For booking a job based on availability: Go to Calls > Manual Job > Get Adaptive Availability button

How To Get Started in Avoca

We do not have a direct integration with ServiceTitan’s Adaptive Capacity because they do not expose those API endpoints. However, we’ve developed an internal version that operates the same way as ServiceTitan’s functionality, and it is managed through the Avoca platform.
